The Stations
Please Note:
The contents of the Building Library are extremely outdated; it has not been updated in years and will likely not be made current until the completion of our new layout.
The Stations are a place for a train to stop and for people to move. Due to the heavy train traffic, the stations are split into two separate but equally important buildings. The first is the white, passenger station. Here, tickets are sold, people wait for trains, and refreshments are bought. The other is the red, freight station. Here, freight is delivered and packaged, companies are registered, and trains are loaded. The names for the white and red stations are Central City and Cripple Creek, respectively. There is also a lit alley between the two stations, for easy access to the platform. The real stations use two model stations, Lincoln Logs, and six model cars. We have put lights inside both stations. This is complemented by the Christmas lights that we have strung around most of our buildings that give needed ambient outdoor light.
